FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions parents and collectors ask most.

01

How does artwork get approved?

Every upload starts in 'pending' status. Our moderation team reviews each piece for originality and appropriateness. Approved artwork automatically becomes a marketplace collectible with a Certificate of Authenticity. You'll be notified when status changes.

02

How do kid rewards work?

When a collectible sells, the young artist earns coins (10× the sale price in coins) plus XP. Badges unlock for milestones like First Upload, First Sale, and reaching level 5, 10, or 20. Missions offer bonus XP and coins for weekly challenges.

03

Is KidCreato safe for children?

Yes. Parents create and manage all accounts. Kids don't interact with the platform directly — parents upload on their behalf. All public content is moderated. Payments use Stripe's secure infrastructure. We never sell personal data.

04

What is a Certificate of Authenticity (COA)?

A COA is a unique digital certificate generated when artwork is approved. It includes the artist's name, a serial number, artwork details, and issue date. COAs are printable and downloadable from the collectible page.

05

How much does KidCreato cost?

Creating an account and uploading artwork is free. KidCreato takes a small platform fee on marketplace sales. There are no subscription fees for families.

06

Can I buy art from other kids?

Absolutely! Browse the Marketplace or Gallery, filter by artist or price, and purchase with one-click Stripe checkout. You'll receive purchase confirmation and the collectible is marked as sold.

07

What file formats can I upload?

We accept JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 4 MB. For best results, photograph artwork in even lighting against a neutral background.
